DoodleLanguage (hereinafter referred to as “this App”) respects and protects the privacy of all users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

1.1 Information You Provide
- Doodle content: Doodles you draw are sent to our AI service (OpenRouter API) for recognition and returned as translated words. Doodles are transmitted only during recognition and are not stored or used for other purposes.
- Voice recordings: Audio recordings you make are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to any server.
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
This App uses Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Performance to improve app quality and performance:
- Crash data: When the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics collects crash stack traces (including device model, iOS version, and app version) to help us diagnose and fix issues. This data does not contain personally identifiable information.
- Performance data: Firebase Performance collects latency and success rate statistics for core operations (recognize, speak, record, playback). This data is used solely for performance optimization and does not contain personally identifiable information.
1.3 Information NOT Collected
- This App does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.
- This App does not require an account or login.
- This App does not collect location information.
2. Use of Information
Collected information is used exclusively for:
- Doodle recognition: Sending doodles to our AI service (OpenRouter API) for recognition
- Pronunciation: Using system TTS (AVSpeechSynthesizer) to read recognized words aloud; no content is transmitted to external services
- Crash analysis: Analyzing crash causes through Firebase Crashlytics
- Performance optimization: Analyzing success rates and latency of core operations through Firebase Performance

This App is designed for language learners of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian discovers that a child has submitted personal information without consent, please contact us to have it removed.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
If this Privacy Policy changes, we will notify you by updating this document in a future App update. The revised policy will take effect on the date of publication.
